Activity Log

A chronological feed of every order, payment, shipment, return, wallet, inventory, and account event on your store, with category filters and quick links into the record behind each entry.

The Activity Log is your day-to-day feed of what's happening across your store — a single scrolling timeline instead of checking Orders, Shipments, and Finance separately. It's built on your store's event ledger, so it automatically picks up new kinds of events as they're added — there's nothing to configure.

Go to Activity Log in the left navigation.

Activity Log vs. Audit Logs

Activity Log covers what happened on your store — orders, payments, shipments, returns, wallet movements, inventory changes, and account events. For an attributable, tamper-aware record of administrative changes (who edited a setting, deleted a coupon, or signed in), see Audit Logs, which is restricted to the Super Admin.

Event categories

Every entry belongs to one of ten categories, each with its own icon and colour:

CategoryCovers
OrderOrders created, cancelled, and status changes
PaymentPayments captured, failed, and refunds initiated
ShipmentShipments booked, and NDR (non-delivery report) actions like reattempt or return-to-origin
ReturnCustomer return requests and their outcomes
WalletMoney credited to or debited from your platform wallet
InventoryStock and price changes on products and variants
SystemAutomated/background events (e.g. scheduled jobs)
AdminAdministrative actions taken by your team
AuthSign-ins and account-access events
PluginEvents raised by installed plugins (e.g. WhatsApp)

Each entry shows a category chip, a summary line (what happened), the person or system that did it when known, and a relative timestamp — hover the timestamp to see the exact date and time. Entries that need attention carry a severity badge (Warning or Critical) next to the category chip; routine entries show no badge.

Filtering the feed

Use the toolbar above the feed to narrow it down:

  • Search — free-text search across the entries.
  • Category — filter to a single category from the table above, or leave it on "All categories."
  • Since — a date picker to show only events from a chosen date forward.

New in the redesigned admin (v2): stat tiles and group tabs

If your store is on the newer admin sidebar, the Activity Log adds a stat strip and groups the ten categories into four tabs so you can jump straight to the kind of activity you care about.

What v2 adds

  • Stat tiles across the top — Total events, Commerce, Logistics, and Wallet — counted across your whole store, not just what's currently on screen.
  • Group tabs — All, Commerce (orders, payments, inventory), Logistics (shipments, returns), Wallet, and Platform (system, admin, auth, plugin) — replace picking one category at a time.
  • A Severity filter in place of the v1 Category dropdown, so you can isolate Warning or Critical entries directly.
  • A detail drawer — clicking a row opens a side panel with the event's full timestamp, actor and role, amount (if any), and reference ID, instead of navigating away.

Jumping to the underlying record

If an entry has a linked record — an order, a shipment — clicking the row (v1) or view related record in the detail drawer (v2) takes you straight to it.

Loading more and refreshing

The feed loads 50 events at a time. Click Load more at the bottom to fetch the next page, or Refresh at the top to pull the latest events. A caption under the feed always shows how many events you're currently viewing out of the total that match your filters.

Why is an event missing from the feed?

The Activity Log only shows events recorded on your store's ledger from when this feature launched onward — it isn't a retroactive audit of everything that ever happened. If you're looking for a specific update and don't see it, first check that your Category/group tab and Since filters aren't narrowing it out. Some low-level edits (for example, a product edit that doesn't touch price or stock) fall outside the ten categories above and won't appear here — for full field-level change history, see Audit Logs.
