Charm AI (Preview)
A first look at Charm AI, the AI co-pilot shell being built into the BillionBiz dashboard — chat, daily brief, and suggested actions.
Preview only — not a working AI assistant yet
Charm AI is a preview of what an AI co-pilot for your store could look like. The screen you see today is a shell: the chat prompts, daily-brief insights, and suggested actions shown on it are illustrative examples, not a live conversation with a real AI backend. There is no working chat, insight, or action engine behind it yet — treat every number and message on this screen as a mockup of the intended experience, not something that reflects your store's actual data.
Charm AI is available in the new admin sidebar under Extensions → Charm AI; the classic
sidebar does not list it anywhere. If your store is still on the classic sidebar, you won't find a
menu entry for this preview — the underlying page still exists at /charm-ai, but on the classic
theme it just shows a bare "coming soon" badge instead of the full chat/brief/actions preview
described below.
What Charm AI is designed to do
Charm AI is planned as a conversational assistant that lives inside your dashboard and helps you run your store faster — answering questions about your business, surfacing things that need your attention, and taking routine actions on your behalf. The preview screen is organised into three tabs that show the intended shape of that experience:
- Chat — a conversational box where you'd type a question about your store (for example, "what were my best-selling products this week?") and get an answer back. Today this tab shows a set of example prompts and an input box marked as coming soon; it does not send or answer real questions.
- Brief — a daily-style digest of illustrative insight cards (for example, a note about a product running low on stock, or a spike in traffic from a particular channel). These are sample insights meant to show the kind of thing Charm AI would surface once it's live — they are not generated from your store's real data.
- Actions — a list of suggested actions with "Take" and "Dismiss" buttons (for example, restocking a product or following up on an abandoned cart). These are also illustrative; clicking "Take" does not currently perform any action in your store.
A small stats strip at the top of the screen (questions asked, insights generated, actions taken, time saved) is part of the same preview and shows placeholder figures — not a live usage count.
