Creating an Account & Signing In
How to register, log in, reset a forgotten password, verify your email, and check out as a guest on a BillionBiz store.
You don't need an account to browse a store or add items to your cart — but you'll need one (or guest details) to complete an order and to see your order history later.
At a glance
- You can register with an email or a phone number, depending on what the merchant has enabled.
- Guest checkout lets you buy without creating an account; your cart items move over automatically if you log in afterward.
- Forgotten passwords are reset by email link, not by phone OTP.
- Social sign-in (Google/Apple) buttons may be visible on some stores but are not wired up yet — use email or phone instead.
Creating an account
Go to Login → Create account (or /register on the store's site). Depending on how the merchant has configured sign-up, you'll see an email field or a phone field.
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Name | Your full name |
| Email or phone | Whichever the store has enabled — some stores accept only one |
| Password | Minimum 8 characters, with a mix of uppercase, lowercase, and numbers |
Note
The Google and Apple sign-in buttons that appear on some stores' registration and login pages are not active yet — tapping them does nothing. Register and sign in with email or phone instead.
After you submit the form, the store may ask you to verify your email before you can place an order (see Verifying your email below).
Signing in
Go to Login. Enter your email (or phone) and password. If the merchant has only enabled phone sign-in, the login form shows a phone field instead of email.
If your credentials are wrong, you'll see "Invalid email or password" (or the phone-specific equivalent) — the message doesn't tell you which one was wrong, for security.
Verifying your email
If the store requires email verification, you'll land on the Verify your email screen after registering. Enter the code sent to your inbox, or tap Resend if it didn't arrive. Verifying successfully signs you in and takes you to the store's homepage.
Resetting a forgotten password
Request a reset link
Go to Login → Forgot password. Enter your email (or phone) and submit. If an account exists, the store sends a password-reset link to your inbox.
Open the link
The reset link is valid for a limited time. If it has expired, go back to Forgot password and request a new one.
Set a new password
Follow the link to the Reset password screen and enter a new password. Once it's saved, sign in with your new credentials.
Tip
Whether or not the email address you enter has an account, the store shows the same "check your inbox" message — this is intentional, so no one can use the forgot-password form to find out which emails are registered.
Checking out as a guest
You don't have to register to buy something. At checkout, enter your shipping details and email — the store creates a guest order tied to that email, without a password.
Your cart follows you
If you add items to your cart as a guest and then log in or register (in the same browser) before checking out, your guest cart items are merged into your account's cart automatically — matching items combine quantities, and anything already in your account cart is kept.
